THE LAST HOPE: The Electoral College Votes on Monday
The Electoral College met on Monday to officially vote for president-elect Donald Trump. The vote comes in the midst of the U.S. intelligence community’s affirmation that the Russian government did direct hackers and propagandists to sway the election in their favor. There’s also the question of whether the “Colorado Electors” revolt, will be successful. It’s possible that there could be enough “faithless” electors who would choose not to vote for Trump. However, let’s look at the numbers. They would've needed 37 electors to change their votes from Trump. In the end, only two changed electors changed their votes from Trump, and five changed their vote from Hillary. Yes. That actually happened.
