Lessons from NYC's "Swipe it Forward" Campaign

I've nearly forgotten about this short doc I produced at Elite Daily.  Swipe it Forward campaign: I absolutely loved working with them.

Community-led actions/practices like the one seen in the video, are vital to improving life here:
1. They Inform the Public about evidence-based harm that comes from a result of an existing policy.
2. They Provide temporary relief to the people impacted by the harm caused by that policy.
3. They Create accessible ways for the Public to continue the action as Resistance, past the public demonstration.

This is how you create a wider cultural change that - hopefully - will lead to improvement in public policy and social equity.
